Drew Pearson has joined  Biospring Partners as head of portfolio management. Before Biospring, Pearson spent more than two decades at General Atlantic as managing director, head of portfolio management as well as chairman of the portfolio committee. Jennifer Lum and Michelle Dipp co-founded the firm this year to fill what it sees as a gap in the market by making growth investments in tools, services and software companies that can help biopharmas’ R&D become more efficient.

The firm also unveiled a 10-seat advisory board that includes John Baldoni, former SVP, platform technology and science, head of in silico drug discovery unit at GSK Pharma R&D; John Bell, Regius professor of medicine at the University of Oxford; FS Investments' Lisa Detwiler; and Peter Henry, dean emeritus of NYU’s Stern School of Business...
