COVID vaccine updates for Pfizer-BioNTech, CureVac and Sinovac; plus Disbrow becomes permanent BARDA director

Pfizer pilot program for vaccine distribution
Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE) has launched a pilot program in Rhode Island, Texas, New Mexico and Tennessee to determine ways to refine national BNT162b2 delivery and deployment. The four states were chosen because of their differences in overall size, population diversity and immunization infrastructure as well as their need to reach individuals in varied urban and rural settings. They will not receive vaccine doses earlier than other states and will not receive preferential consideration. The pharma has a license to the vaccine from  BioNTech SE (NASDAQ:BNTX).

CureVac ramping up vaccine production
CureVac N.V.
