Amur Pharmaceuticals preclinical data

At the Endocrine Society Meeting in Minneapolis, Amur described the isolation of dehidroepiandrosterone conjugated with phosphocholine (DHEA-PC) and its ability to modulate immune function.

Normal mice were immunologically challenged with 2 percent dinitrochlorobenzene applied to the skin on the back. DHEA-PC or dexamethasone was injected subcutaneously at 100 µg/mouse/day for 12 days following challenge. On days 7-12, the ears of the mice were re-challenged with 1 percent dinitrochlorobenzene and ear swelling was measured. ...
