Favrille files for IPO

Immunotherapy company Favrille filed to raise up to $86.3 million in an IPO that will be underwritten by Piper Jaffray; Needham & Co.; William Blair; and First Albany Capital. The proposed IPO comes on the heels of a $44 million series C round on Tuesday. The private round was led by William Blair Capital Partners, and other investors included Needham Capital Partners; Avtech; Oakwood Medical Investors; Piper Jaffray Ventures; Boston Life Science Venture; Howard Hughes Medical Institute; Forward Ventures; Sanderling; Alloy; De Novo Ventures; and Lotus BioScience. ...
