Ranbaxy withdraws AIDS drugs

The World Health Organization said generics company Ranbaxy is voluntarily withdrawing all its antiretrovirals from WHO prequalification because the company "found discrepancies in the documentation relating to proof of the products' bioequivalence with originator medicines." The company has presented WHO with a plan to regain prequalification and expects to submit new studies next month. ...
