Axcan reports earnings

Gastrointestinal company Axcan (TSX:AXP; AXCA) reported diluted GAAP EPS of $0.19 for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2005, beating the Street estimate by $0.07, but down 27% from $0.26 in the same period last year.
