BIO announces new structure

The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) announced the formation of the Health Section Governing Body, which will establish healthcare-related regulatory policies. Jim Mullen, who is president and CEO of Biogen Idec (BIIB) and chairman of BIO, will chair the section, which will be managed by Amit Sachdev, BIO's EVP for health.
