Achillion (NASDAQ:ACHN) plans to raise $31.1 million in a private placement of 10.7 million units at $2.9049. Each unit consists of a share and a seven-year warrant to purchase 0.25 shares, with each whole share warrant exercisable at $3.53. Investors will have an option to purchase an additional 3.7 million units. Investors will be led by ProQuest Investments and include Clarus Ventures and Investor Growth Capital.
