Eurand raises $22.5 million

Eurand N.V. (NASDAQ:EURX) raised $22.5 million through the sale of 2 million shares at $11.25 in a follow-on underwritten by Deutsche Bank; BofA Merrill Lynch; Cowen; and Thomas Weisel. Eurand originally proposed the offering late last month, when its share price was $15.06. Selling shareholders also sold an additional 6.5 million shares at $11.25.
