Nycomed unveils team for dermatology business
Nycomed (Zurich, Switzerland) unveiled the management team for U.S. dermatology subsidiary Nycomed US Inc., which will become a standalone company following the expected September completion of Nycomed's acquisition by Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. (Tokyo:4502). The team consists of three former employees of King Pharmaceuticals Inc., including former Chairman and CEO Brian Markison, who will become president, CEO and a director of Nycomed US. Nycomed US added that it plans to expand its portfolio by evaluating strategic acquisitions and partnerships.
Nycomed also hired Jeff Bailey as COO and John Golubieski as CFO. Bailey is King's former CCO, and Golubieski was SVP of financial planning and analysis at King. Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE) acquired King earlier this year. ...
