FDA approves HPV vaccines

FDA approved applications for two HPV vaccines. The agency approved a BLA for Cervarix from GlaxoSmithKline plc (LSE:GSK; NYSE:GSK) to prevent precancerous lesions and cervical cancer for females ages 10-25 and an sBLA from Merck & Co. Inc.
