Four House committee bills seek to create tax benefits for biotechs developing infectious disease treatments

As the COVID-19 pandemic makes clear the need for innovative therapies to treat infectious diseases, a trio of Republicans on the House Ways and Means Committee introduced a series of bills offering tax benefits for biotechs developing drugs in the space.
