Cancer immunotherapy company Iovance Biotherapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:IOVA) hired Friedrich Graf Finckenstein as CMO. He was global head of oncology translational medicine of the Pharma Research and Early Development (pRED) unit of Roche (SIX:ROG; OTCQX:RHHBY).
ViiV Healthcare Ltd. (Brentford, U.K.) said John Pottage is stepping down as SVP and chief scientific and medical officer. He will be succeeded by Kimberly Smith as head of R&D and Harmony Garges as CMO, effective Oct. 1. Smith was head of global research and medical strategy and Garges was head of global medical affairs.
