Nearly doubling its second fund, Santé closes $250M third healthcare and life sciences fund to retain ownership in portfolio companies

By nearly doubling the size of its second fund, Santé Ventures is hoping its new $250 million fund will give the firm the cash it needs to keep higher ownership stakes in its portfolio companies compared with previous funds. Texas-based Santé said Wednesday it closed its oversubscribed Santé Health Ventures III above its $200 million target.
