Intercept raises $410.4M via sales of stock, notes
Liver disease company Intercept Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:ICPT) raised $200.4 million through the sale of 2.4 million shares at $83.50 in a follow-on, another $200 million through the sale of convertible senior notes due 2026, and $10 million through the sale of 119,760 shares at $83.50 in a concurrent private placement to existing shareholder Samsara BioCapital.
Sofinnova Partners, OUP top off 28-7’s A round
Non-coding RNA company Twentyeight-Seven Therapeutics Inc. (Watertown, Mass.) raised $15 million from Sofinnova Partners in an extension of its $65 million series A round. Osage University Partners also participated in the extension of the A round, which has now raised a total of $82.8 million (see "Non-Coding RNA Company Twentyeight-Seven Debuts with $65M")...
