Deerfield funding development of UIC discoveries with up to $65M

The University of Illinois at Chicago and Deerfield Management partnered to launch West Loop Innovations LLC (Chicago, Ill.) to house the university’s therapeutic discoveries. Deerfield will provide up to $65 million in research funding to accelerate commercialization of the therapeutics.
