Neurofilament light chain could predict familial Alzheimer's progression

Researchers showed that measuring neurofilament light (NEFL; NF-L) chain could predict progression in familial Alzheimer's disease, suggesting the protein could be used as a biomarker and for developing diagnostics for the disease.
