Cell culture and mouse studies suggest SCGB3A2 could help treat lung cancer. In a mouse Lewis lung carcinoma (LLC) cell line, mouse SCGB3A2 decreased proliferation compared with no treatment. In a mouse model of metastatic LLC, mouse SCGB3A2 decreased the number of lung tumors compared with vehicle.
