Alzheimer's disease linked to herpesvirus

Researchers from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and colleagues found traces of mild strains of herpesvirus in the brains of patients with Alzheimer's disease, adding evidence to previous theories that some viruses are linked to and contribute to the neurodegenerative disease.
