VIB spinout Aelin raises €27M in series A

Aelin Therapeutics N.V. (Leuven, Belgium) debuted with a €27 million ($31.8 million) series A round from LSP, PMV, Novartis Venture Fund, Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund and Fund+.

Aelin spun out of the Flanders Institute for Biotechnology (VIB) and its partner universities Catholic University Leuven, VIB-UGent and VIB-VUB.
