AvidBiotics splits in two

In November, AvidBiotics Corp (South San Francisco, Calif.) said it will split into two separate entities. One company, Xyphos Inc., will develop its chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell platform, convertibleCAR, for immuno-oncology applications.
