Illumina Ventures closes fund at $230M

Illumina Ventures closed its first fund at $230 million. Illumina Inc. (NASDAQ:ILMN) launched the firm in 2016 with a $100 million investment. Corporate, institutional, sovereign and individual investors supplied the remainder, the firm said (see BioCentury Extra, April 15, 2016).
