Ophthalmic company Aerpio Pharmaceuticals Inc. (OTCQB:ARPO) named Stephen Hoffman CEO, effective Dec. 1, 2017. He succeeds Aerpio founder Joseph Gardner, who will remain its president. Hoffman was a senior advisor at PDL BioPharma Inc. (NASDAQ:PDLI), and was a managing director at Skyline Ventures.
