Soland replaces Aldag as uniQure CEO

uniQure N.V. (NASDAQ:QURE) named Dan Soland CEO to succeed Joern Aldag, who had been planning to step down as soon as a replacement could be found. Soland was VP and COO at ViroPharma Inc., which Shire plc (LSE:SHP; NASDAQ:SHPG) acquired.

Aldag told BioCentury he intends to focus on board activities at Molecular Partners AG (SIX:MOLN), where he is chairman, and G7 Therapeutics AG (Zurich, Switzerland). He also said he has a plan to start a new company. ...
