Quintiles, IMS Health merging

CRO Quintiles Transnational Holdings Inc. (NYSE:Q) and healthcare data and IT company IMS Health Holdings Inc. (NYSE:IMS) are merging in an all-stock deal. The parties expect the deal to close next half.

The companies said IMS Health shareholders will own about 51.4% of the combined entity, and Quintiles shareholders the remainder. The combined company, which will be called Quintiles IMS Holdings Inc., had 2015 pro forma revenue of $7.2 billion. ...
