Ophthalmic play Pixium raises EUR 34.5M in Euronext IPO

Pixium Vision S.A. (Euronext:PIX) raised EUR 34.5 million ($46.7 million) through the sale of 4.2 million shares at EUR 8.28 in an IPO on Euronext Paris and a private placement to institutional investors outside of the U.S. The price values the company at EUR 100.4 million ($135.9 million). Societe Generale is global coordinator, lead manager and bookrunner. Jefferies is joint lead manager and bookrunner, and Gilbert Dupont is co-lead manager.

Bpifrance bought EUR 8.5 million ($11.5 million) in shares in the offering. Existing investors Sofinnova; Abingworth; Omnes Capital; Innobio; and Seventure also purchased EUR 8.5 million in shares. Earlier this month, Pixium proposed to sell 3.6 million shares at EUR 8.28-EUR 10.12. ...
