Oncology company Ipsen Group (Euronext:IPN) hired David Meek as CEO effective July 18, replacing Marc de Garidel. Meek was EVP and president of the oncology division at Baxalta Inc., which Shire plc (LSE:SHP; NASDAQ:SHPG) acquired. de Garidel is to become Ipsen's non-executive chairman.
Pain play Iroko Pharmaceuticals LLC (Philadelphia, Pa.) named Louis Vollmer CEO, replacing founder Osagie Imasogie. Vollmer, who already holds a board seat, will continue to be Iroko's president. Imasogie will remain chairman. ...
