Immune Design raises $32.5 million in C round

Cancer vaccine company Immune Design Corp. (Seattle, Wash.) raised $32.5 million in the first close of a planned $49 million series C round. Existing investor The Column Group and new investor Topspin Partners led the close. Existing investors Alta Partners; Versant Ventures; Osage Partners; and ProQuest Investments also participated, along with new investor Sanofi-Genzyme BioVentures.
