The resignation last week of Amit Sachdev, FDA’s deputy commissioner for policy, puts one of the agency’s most experienced behind-the-scenes policy and politics players on the job market. He isn’t likely to stay unemployed long.

Sachdev told BioCentury that he "has not had any significant discussions about what I will do next and expect to make decisions about my future after FDA once I leave." Good Friday was his last day at FDA’s Parklawn headquarters building. ...
