PolyTherics, Cantab in hematology deal

PolyTherics Ltd. (London, U.K.) partnered with Cantab Biopharmaceuticals Ltd. (Cambridge, U.K.) to develop an undisclosed protein therapeutic in preclinical development in the area of hematology. The collaboration will use PolyTherics' TheraPEG pegylation technology to enhance protein pharmacokinetics. Celtic Pharma Holdings Advisors LLP, which owns Cantab, has options to add two further proteins to the deal and license any products from the partnership.
