Motolimod regulatory update

The European Commission granted Orphan Drug designation to VentiRx’s motolimod to treat ovarian cancer. The small molecule toll-like receptor 8 (TLR8) agonist is in Phase II testing to treat ovarian cancer in patients whose disease has progressed on or recurred after platinum-based chemotherapy.
