PerioPatch: Phase II data

A single-blind, U.S. Phase II trial in 80 patients with moderate to severe periodontitis showed that transmucosal PerioPatch plus scaling and root planning met the primary endpoint of reducing pocket depth vs. scaling and root planning alone. PerioPatch also met the secondary endpoints of increasing the attachment level gain and reducing the percent bleeding on probing vs. scaling and root planning alone.
