Vesigenurtacel-L: Phase I data

Data from 1 patient who underwent transurethral resection of bladder tumor plus induction treatment with bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) in the Phase I portion of a U.S. Phase I/II trial showed that HS-410 for 6 weeks led to an approximate 70-fold increase in CD8 expression and no increase in CD4 expression within the tumor. At week 21, the patient remained disease-free and showed an approximate 750-fold increase in CD8 expression with no increase in CD4 expression. Heat said the increase in levels of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (CD8+ killer T cells) appears to correlate with the clinical response observed with HS-410.
