Immucor, Organ-i deal

Immucor acquired Organ-i, which develops non-invasive tests to monitor and predict organ health for transplant recipients. Immucor declined to disclose financial terms but said the deal strengthens its presence in transplantation diagnostics. The company said the acquisition is also "highly complementary" to its Lifecodes transplant business, which Immucor acquired from Hologic Inc.
