Kreatech, Leica Microsystems deal

Leica's Leica Biosystems histopathology division acquired supply/service company Kreatech. Kreatech, which develops DNA fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) probes and target labeling reagents for microarrays, will join Leica Biosystems' Advanced Staining Business unit located in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, U.K. The combined business will develop targeted biomarker menus for Leica's instrument platforms.
