Life Technologies said China's Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) approved its 3500xL Dx Genetic Analyzer for clinical diagnostic use. The sequence-based system uses capillary electrophoresis system for nucleic acid analysis for a range of applications, including de novo sequencing and human leukocyte antigen (HLA) typing.
