Active Biotech, Ipsen report OS data for tasquinimod

Active Biotech AB (SSE:ACTI) and partner Ipsen Group (Euronext:IPN) said oral tasquinimod led to median overall survival of 34.2 months vs. 30.2 months for placebo in a Phase II trial in 206 asymptomatic, metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer patients. In a subgroup of CRPC patients with bone metastases, median OS was 34.2 months for tasquinimod vs. 25.6 months for placebo. Additionally, time to symptomatic progression was significantly longer in patients treated with tasquinimod vs. placebo (p=0.039). Data will be presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology meeting that starts June 1 in Chicago. Active Biotech was up SEK1.50 to SEK40.80 on Friday. Ipsen slid EUR 0.25 to EUR 20.35. ...
