DPP Syphilis Screen & Confirm diagnostic data

An analysis of 3,134 whole blood, finger prick blood and plasma samples collected from 1,323 subjects in Chinese sexually transmitted disease (STD) clinics and high-risk groups in outreach settings showed that Chembio's DPP Syphilis Screen & Confirm test had 96.7% sensitivity and 99.3% specificity for detecting non-treponemal and treponemal antibodies to syphilis in whole blood samples (n=1,323) vs. Treponema pallidum particle agglutination (TPPA).
