SkyePharma up on EC Flutiform approval

SkyePharma plc (LSE:SKP) gained 20p (26%) to 98p on Tuesday after the European Commission issued a binding decision to approve an MAA for Flutiform fluticasone/formoterol to treat asthma. SkyePharma said the 21 member states are now required to grant marketing approvals for Flutiform, which partner Mundipharma International Ltd. plans to launch in Europe this half. The MAA was being reviewed under the decentralized procedure.
