Afexa, Valeant Pharmaceuticals deal

Valeant extended its tender offer to acquire Afexa for C$0.85 per share, or about C$87.7 million ($87.2 million), to Oct. 27. At Oct. 17, 80.9 million shares, or about 73.8% of outstanding shares, had been tendered.
