Harbor BioSciences, China National Pharmaceutical Group preclinical data

In rats with induced mammary tumors, 6.6 mg/day Apoptone plus weekly Taxotere docetaxel for 28 days significantly inhibited tumor growth vs. Taxotere alone (p=0.0149), and with no apparent signs of toxicity. Furthermore, Apoptone plus Taxotere prevented the growth of new tumors for 60 days after treatment ended, whereas new tumors rapidly appeared in rats treated with Arimidex anastrozole, Taxotere or tamoxifen as single agents.
