Veteran biotech exec Brewer passes away

Myrexis Inc. (NASDAQ:MYRX) said CEO Richard Brewer died from multiple myeloma. He was 61.

Brewer joined cancer company Myrexis in May after nearly 35 years in the biopharma industry. He served as president and CEO of Scios Inc. from 1998-2004, helping lead the autoimmune and cardiovascular company's sale to Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) for about $2.5 billion. ...
