Caliper and Carestream settled two lawsuits related to their respective imaging systems. Under the settlement, the companies will dismiss their respective suits and Carestream will not market in vivo optical imaging systems for applications covered by patents Caliper and its Xenogen Corp. subsidiary licensed from the university. Carestream also agreed not to assert that Caliper's IVIS Lumina XR imaging system infringes any of Carestream's patents.
