Inspire, Santen sales and marketing update

The companies amended a 1998 deal under which Inspire granted Santen rights to develop and commercialize diquafosol tetrasodium in Japan and nine other Asian countries. Under the amendment, Santen was granted a license to manufacture the active ingredient, which Inspire previously provided. Inspire will now be eligible for $1.3 million in remaining milestones and high-single-digit to low-double-digit royalties on sales in Santen's territories.
