Abraxane paclitaxel regulatory update

EMEA's CHMP recommended approval of ABBI's Abraxane paclitaxel to treat metastatic breast cancer patients who have failed first-line treatment for metastatic disease and for whom standard anthracycline-containing therapy is not indicated. ABBI granted Otsuka's Taiho Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. subsidiary Japanese rights to Abraxane in 2005. ...
