Zogenix raises $35 million

Zogenix Inc. (San Diego, Calif.) raised $35 million in the second tranche of a series B round, bringing the total raised in the round to $71 million. New investor Chicago Growth Partners joined existing investors Clarus Ventures; Domain Associates; Scale Venture Partners; Thomas, McNerney; and Abingworth Management in the tranche.
