Incyte Genomics Inc., Agilent deal

INCY granted Agilent a license to its microarray and gene expression patents. The deal includes patents covering DNA microarray manufacture and use; nucleic acid amplification; cancer research with arrays; and inkjet array manufacture. Under an existing deal, Agilent is using INCY’s LifeSeq gene expression database and gene patent portfolio to develop cDNA- and oligonucleotide-based microarrays to detect and monitor gene expression.
