Silicon Valley Biosystems diagnostic news

Diagnostics service company Silicon Valley Biosystems debuted last week with funding from Sequoia Capital. The company had raised an undisclosed amount in a seed and series A round from Sequoia. The company was founded in September 2011 by President and CEO Dietrich Stephan, who was executive director of the Gene Partnership at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children's Hospital. He was also founder and CSO of Navigenics Inc., which Life Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:LIFE, Carlsbad, Calif.) acquired in last year. ...
