PolyPid joined the Biofilm Alliance (BALI) consortium and received a €1 million ($1.3 million) grant under the European Commission's Framework Programme 7 (FP7) to develop products to treat biofilm-associated infections. PolyPid will work with institutional partners to combine its PolyPid controlled-release drug delivery technology with Synthetic Antibacterial Antibiofilm Peptides (SAAP) contributed by three parties.
