Kai Medical Inc., Novogen deal

Novogen will merge with respiratory device company Kai Medical. The combined company will be renamed Kai Medical Holdings Ltd. Novogen expects to provide details to its shareholders "within the next three weeks." Details were not disclosed.

Kai Medical focuses on developing sleep apnea therapy devices and wireless respiratory monitoring technology. Kai markets the Kai Apnea system, which monitors the users breathing and delivers a vibration to the neck region to restore breathing when an apnea event is detected; and Kai Continuous, a non-contact respiratory rate monitor.
